About our housing
We own and manage more than 1,800 properties for rent across central Scotland, with the majority located in Midlothian. Our properties vary in size between one and four bedrooms. In the main communities we serve you can find properties with the following number of bedrooms:

When you apply for a house with us you may choose as many areas as you wish. However, the lack of, or slow turnover of particular sizes and types of properties in some areas, may mean a lengthy waiting time.
When choosing your preferred areas you should also take into account the size of your household in relation to the size of property available.
We house single people, couples and families in the following size of property:

| Single parent or couple with 2 children | 2 or 3 bedrooms |
| Single parent or couple with 3 or 4 children | 3 or 4 bedrooms |
| Single parent or couple with 5 children | 4 bedrooms |
Unfortunately we are unable to house families with more than five children. However, we welcome applications from large families to demonstrate the need for larger properties when considering future developments.
