If you are a Melville tenant and want to move to another, more suitable, property owned by us, you can apply for a transfer.

You will need to complete an application form which we can post or email to you, or which you can pick up from our office in Dalkeith.

Your application will be assessed, and points awarded, based on your re-housing need, with factors such as over-crowding or health problems taken into consideration.

Anyone who applies for a transfer will be added to the waiting list, but only when you achieve a certain number of points will you be actively considered for transfer.
