Following the violent storm at the beginning of January, repairs have been ordered to the roofs of over 300 Melville properties.

This represents a huge amount of work and while we are carrying out repairs as quickly as possible, specialist equipment is required for the higher roofs (such as our 6-in-a-block flats), resulting in some repairs taking slightly longer than anticipated. 

Damage to roofs is our current priority, other storm damage such as fencing which has blown down, unless considered dangerous, is currently being treated as of secondary importance. Fencing and other storm damage will be repaired once the backlog of roof work has been cleared.
