Coronavirus and Service Delivery

We are all facing challenges presented by coronavirus (COVID-19) in the coming weeks and months.

Melville Housing Association has put a number of measures in place to manage the situation and ensure that, as far as possible, we continue to deliver vital services for our customers.

Our priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our tenants, staff and business partners, and the Association is taking all necessary steps to minimise the risk as far as we can.  We are monitoring the advice and guidance from the UK and Scottish governments and NHS officials.

On Friday 13 March 2020 we closed our office to all visitors, and it will remain closed until further notice.  We are working to maintain essential services and all staff can still be contacted by telephone (0131 654 2733) and via email (info@melville.org.uk). Many of our services are also available through our website.

We will not carry out home visits or accept visitors to the office and our staff will not be attending any public training sessions or events.

Contact from staff will be by phone, text, video, email or by other digital means.

We continue to provide our essential repairs and maintenance services, including gas servicing, until further notice, however when making appointments we will be asking a series of questions before any appointment is confirmed.

We will continue to do all we can to provide services and support to those who need it and will publish further information on our website and social media as the situation develops.
