Delivering Services Safely

Melville’s office remains closed and communication by phone or email is the default position until further notice, however as we gradually move out of lockdown a number of face-to-face services are returning, and we are working hard to make sure these are delivered as safely as possible, for both tenants and our staff and contractors.

If you are using any of our returning services, delivered by Melville staff or one of our contractors, then here’s a summary of the key measures we have put in place to ensure the safety of everyone.

  • Before visiting any tenant we will first call to make sure no one in the house has any COVID symptoms. If anyone does, we will reschedule the appointment
  • Any staff member or contractor who has symptoms will not attend appointments. These will be allocated to other staff members or rescheduled
  • All Melville staff and contractors will follow social distancing guidelines
  • All Melville staff and contractors will use face coverings in enclosed spaces
  • All Melville staff and contractors will follow hand hygiene measures, ensuring hands are cleaned regularly and sanitiser used frequently
  • Workmen will clean the area thoroughly once jobs are completed
