Melville has launched a new annual £250 prize, rewarding a community champion or remarkable resident. We want to recognise the contribution made by special people who go the extra mile, and tell others about the difference they make to the lives of those around them. This may be someone who helps with:

• gardening and small outside jobs like clearing the gutters
• wee repairs around the house
• the shopping
• filling in forms or understanding confusing letters you’ve been sent

Or may simply help out by keeping you company every now and then. It’s amazing the difference this can make.

If you’re a Melville tenant then you can nominate any neighbour of yours, even if they’re not a Melville tenant themselves. The winner, chosen by a panel of Board members, staff and tenants, will be announced at our AGM and will receive a cash prize of £250. 

All you have to do is get in touch (by phone, letter or email), providing your name and address and a contact number. We’ll do the rest.
