Mid Market Rent Homes

Mid market rent homeMid market homes are different from social housing. Rents are higher than those charged by Melville, but lower than you would pay to a private landlord. Not everyone can apply for a mid market home. There are certain criteria you must meet, including a minimum income of around £15,700 and a maximum income of £40,000. Anyone with more than £3,000 in savings will not be eligible to apply.

Through our Ironmills subsidiary we have a very small number of mid market homes located at the Old School Crescent development in Mayfield, Midlothian (just outside Dalkeith). 

These 11 properties are all currently let and turnover tends to be low. As we currently have a lengthy waiting list, we're not accepting new applications for the time being.
