Making a Payment
There are more ways than ever before for Melville customers to make rent and other payments.
1 By direct debit, standing order or bank transfer
The easiest way to pay your rent is by setting up a regular payment from your bank (direct debit or standing order). You can also pay by bank transfer. Contact your housing officer or our finance team for more details.
You can pay over the internet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year using a debit card such as Visa Debit or Maestro.
Payments are made through allpay. You can access this site from any internet connected device, anywhere in the world.
To use allpay you'll need to have the 19 digit reference number printed on your Melville payment card. If you've only recently been issued a card then please be aware that it may take up to 48 hours from the time the card was issued before you can use this service.
There are no charges for paying online and the service is totally secure as it uses the latest encryption technology.
3 At some shops
You can pay your rent at any shop that displays the PayPoint logo. Find your nearest PayPoint location.

Payments can be made over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You'll need your 19 digit reference number and a valid debit card. Simply call 0844 557 8321.
Please be aware that calls to allpay cost 7p a minute plus your standard call rate.
6 Using your mobile
You can make payments using your mobile phone, either by:
- Downloading the allpay app if you have a smartphone
- Or by using the text message service. You will first need to register your mobile phone, the attached payment card and your debit card number with allpay. All you then have to do is text a simple code and the amount you wish to pay to 81025. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
