Cherokees Score with Melville Donation

Cherokees 2017Arniston Rangers Cherokees, the under-eights team of Arniston Rangers Youth Football Club (ARYFC), have revealed their new team strip, made possible thanks to a £500 sponsorship deal with Melville Housing.

“The new strips look fantastic and we’re delighted to see our sponsorship money put to such good use,” said Melville Chief Executive Andrew Noble. “To have such a long-standing relationship reflects the success of the club and is testament to the hours of hard work put in by all the coaches and volunteers. We’re extremely proud that the boys and girls will be playing matches this season under the Melville badge.”

Melville Housing and the Cherokees, who are a registered charity, have a relationship stretching back to 2008, when the club was first set up. During that time Melville donations have paid for equipment, first aid kits as well as training and match day strips.

Andrew Cranston, Chairperson of ARYFC, said, “On behalf of everyone at the club I’d like to thank Melville Housing for their generous donation and their continued support. It’s with the help of the local community that the club has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we wouldn’t be where we are today without the backing of Melville and other local businesses like them.”
