Allocation Survey Results Published

Midlothian Council is proposing making significant changes to the way it allocates social homes, like those recently completed for Melville by Taylor Wimpey in Gorebridge and Penicuik. And because we share a common housing register with the Council these changes would also have an impact on some existing Melville tenants (such as those looking to transfer).

In order to get an idea of how our tenants felt about the proposed changes we carried out a digital consultation exercise in March using text messaging, Facebook and our website. We had an excellent response with 259 people completing the short online survey form. Here’s a brief summary of the findings:
